Position: Locum Consulting Cardiologist
Location: Launceston, Tasmania
Summary:
Charles Clinic is the largest private cardiology service in Tasmania and is seeking a cardiologist to join our dedicated team. We provide a full range of high-quality cardiology services to the north and north-west of Tasmania as well as a nationally recognised service to isolated communities.
The team at Charles Clinic currently consists of 10 full and part-time cardiologists and specialists. We have an outstanding technical department of 10 echo-sonographers and technicians operating state of the art Phillips imaging equipment.
We are looking for locum placements in 2023 to support our resident Cardiologists in the servicing of our patients from the North, North West and North East of Tasmania.
Required Skills:
Applicants must be registered as a medical practitioner with AHPRA including specialist recognition as a cardiologist.
Remuneration:
Charles Clinic will remunerate at the rate of $2,500.00 per day + GST and provide accommodation and flights.

Administration Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily clinic administration workflows ensuring diary compliance and maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Manage and support administrative staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Implement efficient processes to enhance patient experience and clinic performance.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Address patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate clinic supplies and consumables ensuring all necessary resources are available for efficient workflows.
- Oversee employee performance evaluations, providing guidance and support to staff in setting goals, offering feedback, and maintaining high levels of engagement.
- Coordinate and chair staff meetings and staff one on ones
- Manage recruitment processes for all administrative staff, ensuring the team is appropriately staffed to meet patient care needs.
- Collaborate as part of the Executive team to develop strategic initiatives that support clinic goals.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in a related field of Human Resources or Business Administration
- Proven experience in administration or management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of, or ability to acquire, healthcare regulations and compliance standards.

- Assist overseeing of daily clinic administration workflows, ensuring diary compliance and maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
- Assist and support administrative staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Assist with implementing efficient processes to enhance patient experience and clinic performance.
- Ensure correct scheduling of patient appointments.
- Assist staff with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and maintain clinic supplies and consumables ensuring all necessary resources are available for efficient workflows.
- Assist in coordinating staff meetings and staff one on ones.
- Assist with recruitment processes for all administrative staff, ensuring the team is appropriately staffed to meet patient care needs.
- Provide daily administration and doctor support.
- Provide support to the Administration Manager.
